Marvin

My lips, his hands, my breast, his voice, my moans, his tongue, the sink in my back, the call of his name, the slide to the very base of my throat, the taste of him, sweet.

Nothing is as certain as the absence of you

It‘s so that missing one day can feel like a lifetime or as common as a drought in the Ocean of Forever

I need you to nourish me with compliments of honey; glazed in your sweet words it fortifies my smile

I need you to protect me with an army of desire, so our palms will always be sweaty when we hold hands

Interwoven and bounded we are by the breaths of promise and intruding need for the same things; a you and a me.

A tree stood lonely atop a hill
Each day a lion came and laid quietly under it
One day while the lion visited the tree he thought to himself "with his courage he is king and I feel protected. How lucky am I to be in his company," and was content.

One day as the lion lay lazily under the tree,
which stood lonely atop a hill
He thought to himself "how lucky am I to have such a tree, so broad and full and green. He shades me from sun and rain. At his feet I am at peace" and was content.

And they lived each day, one unknowingly protecting the other all the days of their lives
